Field Hockey - Carolina Connection

Program Information

Carolina Connection unites three field hockey clubs (NC Fusion, CASFH, and Carolina Curse) to create a stronger, more competitive (advanced and intermediate players) alliance that enables players to participate in USA Field Hockey events and other high-level tournaments requiring travel. By pooling resources and talent across our clubs, we aim to offer evaluation-based teams at the U19, U16, and U14 levels, fostering a high-performance environment for athletes aspiring to play at a more advanced level. This collaboration enhances player development, maximizes access to competitive play, and strengthens our shared commitment to field hockey. 


Non-affiliated players are welcome to participate.

Program Details:


 Who:  4th -12th grade advanced and intermediate players


Location: Truist Sports Park, 428 Twins Way, Bermuda Run, NC 27006


Tryout Required:  January 19   Rescheduled to February 2nd, $25 registration fee, Register below

Dates:  March 12 - June 1, 2025 (see schedule below)

Cost:  $695

Uniform:  $130 (one-time purchase)


Includes:

  • 12-16 hours of full team training: 3-hour sessions (rotating between Charlotte, Winston-Salem, and the Triangle)
  • 11 v 11 playdays/tournaments 
  • 7 v 7 tournaments 



Required Equipment:

  • Mouthguard
  • Shinguards
  • Outdoor Stick
  • Turf shoes, cleats or sneakers


This equipment can be purchased through Dick’s Sporting Goods. You can also reach out to Aerial Field Hockey located in Charlotte and we will arrange delivery of equipment. Their website is www.aerialfieldhockey.com.
