Are you looking to add a technical session to your player’s week of training? NC Fusion has a program designed to enhance your player’s skills. In small groups of six players or less, players will participate in 8 sessions of intense and fun focused technical work: dribbling, passing, and receiving. Players will be challenged and pushed with individual ball mastery, high pressure play in 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 games and comfort on the ball.  

This program is for 9U-14U players registered in the NC Fusion competitive program (Junior Academy, Classic, Pre-ECNL, ECNL/RL).  

This supplemental program is for 7U-10U recreational players interested in increasing their technical skill with the ball.  Curriculum will be introduced each week to teach important skills including skillful moves, quick turns, passing and receiving as well as intelligent decision making.

In Winston Salem, North Carolina, Beyond Sports is improving access to youth sports, particularly for children in Title 1 schools. Founded by Mike Kennedy and Micheala Amidon, Beyond Sports is rooted in a mission to address the inequities in access to sports opportunities. By bringing sports directly to schools, removing barriers to participation, and providing much-needed resources, Beyond Sports is making a lasting impact on the lives of young athletes. Since merging with NC Fusion in January 2023, Beyond Sports has expanded its reach, now serving as the foundation for a multiple sports organization that spans the region.

Best Practice Highlights

• Transportation barriers to participation removed.
• Multiple sports experiences integrated in a typical school day.
• Fully funded programs eliminating financial obstacles for both students and schools.
• Strategic partnerships have significantly expanded Beyond Sports' reach to 36 schools.
• A successful fundraising strategy have secured multi-year grant commitments.
• Data-driven metrics will demonstrate success to stakeholders.

Soccer Shots, an NC Fusion partner, is offering fall programming at several NC Fusion locations including the Greensboro Sportsplex, Bryan Park, Proehlific Park, Truist Sports Park, Kernersville YMCA, plus additional locations all across the Triad. They also have some upcoming free fun days you might want to check out.  

Fall Season: week of 9/2 - week of 12/2

Short Program Description: Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication.

Registration is now open for the fall season.  Fun, fast action and fitness!  The season begins in September, don't miss out.  

Registration is now open for the Fall Middle School Team and the Recreation program.  Whether you are new to the game, want to learn new skills, or prepare for your upcoming school season, we'd love to have you join us!  

Our iPlay program is intentionally designed for players with special needs. The sessions are centered around the interaction between Athletes and Buddies, volunteers who work with the athletes.  Together, Athletes and their Buddies have a chance to play field games, kick goals, hula hoop, play frisbee, and generally do all of the things that kids love to do.

We welcome photos from players and parents that would like to share!  

We love to see photos of past and present players exemplifying our Core Values, showing good sportmanship, celebrating success and powering through challenges on and off the field!

New Referee Registration and Certification for the 2025 USSF Registration year is currently opened. Once a new referee completes all requirements, this new referee license will be valid until December 31, 2025 and referees will be eligible to referee during the upcoming Fall 2024 Season.
